Impact Report
January 2024 - March 2024
KNKX brings news, music, and storytelling to Western Washington. From the Coast to the Cascades, our news story, music, and storytelling reached hundreds of thousands of people.
Here are some of our major initiatives as we kicked off 2024.
In recognition of International Women's Day every year, KNKX honors the women who have left an indelible mark on the world of jazz and blues.
On this day, we played these artists exclusively on Midday Jazz and Evening Jazz.
Exclusive sets at Studio X
Our new Seattle studio has hosted some of the top jazz and blues artists coming through the Puget Sound region. Recently, we’ve hosted Jazz Overhaul, Lee Oskar, The Cookers, Lakecia Benjamin, Jahari Stampley, and Riley Mulherkar (pictured), and more.
Get on the list for future Studio Sessions by subscribing to our weekly email newsletter! And tune in to “Studio Session Spotlight” on Friday nights to hear these performances!
