The Walk Home podcast continues to reach audiences around the Puget Sound (and beyond).
Named one of the best podcasts of the year by Vulture

Top 50 Podcasts on Spotify’s Top Podcasts chart and Top 100 on Apple’s News Podcast Charts.
The Walk Home team has been working with libraries, high schools, and universities to engage with students and community members.
One high school student was even inspired by Monet’s quest for justice when writing a scholarship application about a civic leader who has inspired her.
And notably, Hector Castro with the new Washington State Office of Independent Investigations said ‘The Walk Home’ was “practically required listening” for staff.

Black History Month
In February, Black History Month, KNKX honored the contributions of Black jazz and blues artists, presenting a collection of special one-hour programs.
Our news team also reported on several stories about the Black community, such as this feature on State Senator Rosa Franklin by Bellamy Pailthorp.
